PROJECT IDEA
The basis of the work stay in Maulbronn is a project idea related to the subject areas of painting, photography, literature, composition, or architecture.
One aspect of this project idea is the examination of the spirit of place in a narrower or broader sense, its genius loci.
A public presentation of the completed project (exhibition, workshop discussion, concert, reading, lecture, etc.) is anticipated, as well as a written report on the activities carried out.
SERVICES AND OPPORTUNITIES
The artist residence is in the immediate vicinity of the Maulbronn monastery complex. The rooms are located on the upper ground floor of the Seeburger house.
In addition to two connected workrooms / studios with a total area of 40 m², the guest artists have a private room/bedroom, a kitchen / living room and a bathroom at their disposal. A garden with shade trees is also available.
The stay in the artist residence includes the free use of the furnished rooms including electricity, water, heat and internet connection.
The workrooms/studio spaces can be used as a forum for guests and the public to meet, for example, for exhibitions, workshop discussions, readings, presentations.
